Thrift Store Shoe Retirement/Destruction/End Of An Era
Bought for 5.95 American Dollars in the summer of 2009 when I was dirt broke, at a Volunteers Of America. Cheap, lightweight, and passably handsome for the price, they were a good find in a time of need. Now that there is a two and a half inch tear on the right shoe between the sole and the faux leather upper that exposes my small toes and allows water to creep in effortlessly, these faithful shoes will be placed with sadness into a large black trashcan, lined with a 30 gallon solid black trashbag, which in turn will make it's way to a dump or similar ecological wasteland. And quite possibly never be seen again. Shot on Iphone/Columbus, Ohio.
