College Moving Day And Its Great Overflowing Forget-It-All Trash Bonanza PT. 1
To commemorate the mass exodus of The Ohio State University's entire student population in early summer, trash dumpsters and the alleys that contain them are packed, filled, and ram-jammed with trash of all types. There are an obscene amount of beer cans, Natural Light cans, being the drink of choice for young college types in this part of the universe. There are many articles of clothing, shoes, broken electronics, and paper of all kinds. I met a man hunched in front of the rubble pile by one dumpster. He was a coin collector. He knew that these kids throw everything out this time of year, EVERYTHING, and one time he found some kind of extra special penny worth excessively more then a single cent. So he keeps hunting, poking around, uncovering the litter piece by piece, hope for hope. Shot on Iphone/Columbus, Ohio.
